Description

This hands-on session contains exercises for getting started with Bentley’s BIM solution, OpenBuildings Designer. The students will learn basic modeling techniques for working in a 3D environment and explore the workflow of creating an intelligent model for a small above ground transportation station.  Exercises start with creating a conceptual block model, working with site files (geo-referencing), and then modeling columns, beams, walls, doors, windows, and curtain walls.
